Independence Day Parade Returns
JCFPD Thanks San Diego Fire Foundation
Jean Jones, Executive Director, San Diego Fire Foundation, Frank Ault, President, San Diego Fire Foundation, Fire Chief Rick Marinelli, JCFPD, Jack Shelver,President JCFPD Board. The Julian Cuyamaca Fire Protection District made a special presentation at the pre-parade ceremonies to acknowledge the effort and assistance of the San Diego Fire Foundation for helping secure the necessary grant funding for their newest apparatus, highlighting the difficulty small independent district face in acquiring equipment. Frank Ault , President of the San Diego Fire Foundation accepted the plaque for the foundation and for Qualcomm who was the major financial contributor to the grant the district received for the purchase. A ceremonial ribbon cutting followed with board president Jack Shelver and Mr Ault.
