Exercise 05 The drawing shows the elevation of a two-storey building with a penthouse floor, a restaurant-shelter in La Bonaigua, in the Pyrenees of Lleida (altitude: 2,072 m.) The facade is built with granite bearing walls, 40 cm thick, insulated with a 10 cm thick extruded polystyrene interior layer, double hollow brick inside and cement mortar for the interior finishing. The main structure of the building is a concrete 22 cm. thick slab supported by load-bearing walls. The roof covering material is a 20x30x0,5 cm. slate. The slope of the main deck is variable, as shown in the sketch. Eaves are projected 80 cm from the front line. Case 1. Students with ID 0,2,4,6,8. Section A-A’. Scale: 1:10 Case 2.
