Why make a nomination for an award?

A Star Award nomination recognises and celebrates the achievements of individuals, teams and colleagues across the Trust.

It’s also an opportunity to share innovation, best practice and the spread of excellence in our organisation.

Every nomination is carefully considered against our Trust values and those shortlisted are celebrated as part of this annual event.

Who can be nominated?

Anyone who makes a difference to the experience of our patients, service users, carers or staff can be nominated. This includes staff, colleagues on secondment, students on placement, volunteers and other valued partners.

We are looking for nominations across all areas of the organisation. Equal consideration will be given to people working in support functions and non clinical roles, as well as those working in the delivery of direct patient care.

You may nominate yourself, your team, or your colleagues.

What will winners receive?

Each winning individual or team will receive a certificate and an award trophy

All shortlisted nominees receive a ticket to the event which includes a welcome drink, three course meal and evening entertainment. Shortlisted teams will receive 10 tickets, individuals will receive two

Shortlisted nominees will receive a certificate recognising their achievement

The story behind every shortlisted individual or team nomination will feature in our keepsake Star Awards programme

Winners and runners up will have the opportunity to have their photo taken professionally at the event and their success celebrated on our communication channels.
