Music is the Light: Jane and the Robot Etching (Intaglio), aquatint Fall 2008 This print spurred a series of illustrations surrounding a developing story about a little girl who befriends a giant imaginary robot to deal with her feelings of rejection and lack of self-esteem.
Jane and the Robot: Plugged In Photoshop Fall 2010 Music is a large part of the series. It helps Jane cope with the big issues in her life and becomes the mechanism that wakes up her robot friend.

Balance Series: Icelands Oil paint and graphite on birch panel 2.5’ x 2’ Spring 2011 I spent four months developing a series involving yoga, the human body and mind, and nature integrated together to display balance and harmony. A very fun book about a snake that steals other animal’s items. He has so many toys and candies that his tree house eventually breaks and he falls to the ground. I used photoshop and the pen tool to create a paper cut-out style.
