This Graduation work is about two main subjects: - Wich future for an urban and industrial wastelands ? - How to the water could be an urban development force again ? The objective is to create a park for locals and metropolitan inhabitants. A park that allows people to escape the city center noise and pollution, becoming a peaceful and green oasis. A park to clean the soils and to resolve flooding issues by the mean of water expansion. The main actions were to deal with the flooding areas and with the urban limits by using the landscapes structures of the river to compose the project.

LA RUE DE LONGVIC PARTAGÉE OU POUR UNE CIRCULATION APAISÉE ET PARTAGÉE ET UNE MUTUALISATION DES STATIONNEMENTS

La rue de Longvic s’attache à changer de nature, celle d’une entrée de ville calme et apaisée. Aujourd’hui parcourue à grande vitesse par les véhicules, elle doit demain retrouver sa vocation originelle : l’accueil de tous les modes de transport. Elle deviendra ainsi une réelle connexion Nord-Sud, du nouveau quartier aux terrains de sports, plutôt qu’une limite. Le partage de la voie permet de renforcer l’attention des automobilistes et de les inciter à ralentir. Les piétons et les cyclistes sont prioritaires dès lors qu’ils respectent les autres usagers. Cette nouvelle règle s’accompagne d’un revêtement rugueux qui fera sortir l’automobiliste de son confort habituel.
2016/2017
A la manière de cette transformation les autres voies seront définies selon le même principe à l’intérieur du nouveau quartier de logement. L’avenue des Droits de l’Homme et du Citoyen qui traverse le parvis de l’école sera reconditionnée de la même manière pour permettre à l’ensemble du grand quartier d’initier leur cohabitation sur les mêmes règles.

The refurbishment of the site opens the question of its relation with the neighbourhood (in a use and spatial way), but also with the main road leading to the centre of Dijon. This site has the possibility to become a new and dynamic entrance to the city. Every stakeholder of the project will be included in the process, at different times. The implication of the current and new inhabitants is essential. N

This project is about an industrial regeneration into a mixed urban district in Rotterdam. For size reasons, the Rotterdam port needs more and more installations and is moving to the sea. What is the future of the former industrial districts near the city center? The concept is based on the idea of oversize and scales. 4 different scales and situations are sugested in the area. Each one coincides with an urban function and ambiance. The project is to develop a new centrality on the banks by means of a high content of bigs influences equipment’s. Housing areas are developed beyond.
