Brett Coblentz Please meet Brett Coblentz; our new Chief Pilot! He moved to Juneau for a seasonal flying position in 2013 and decided to stay in Juneau. He grew up in a small town called Mt. Eaton in Northeast Ohio, in the middle of Amish country. Brett began his flying career after graduating from Hesston College for aviation training in Kansas and started with Alaska Seaplanes in 2015. He was a flight instructor and flew survey and mapping for a couple of years before moving to Juneau. In his downtime he enjoys time with his family, hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, woodworking, and being able to get out to adventure within five minutes of leaving his home. His favorite part about working at Alaska Seaplanes are the people he works with and flying the airplanes, especially the floatplanes. We are very proud to have Brett as a leader on our team.
