Juneau’s Tourism Best Management Practices (TBMP) program is a cooperative effort among residents, Juneau tour operators, cruise lines, transportation providers, tour brokers, hospitality businesses, merchants, restaurants, the Tongass National Forest and the City and Borough of Juneau. The program establishes neighborhood-specific guidelines to address key community concerns in a constructive and pro-active manner. The TBMP Guidelines encourage local tourism and hospitality businesses and their employees to conduct their operations in a responsible and neighborhood-sensitive manner. You can read the 2018 TBMP Guidelines at any CBJ library or online at www. juneau.org/tourism or at www.tbmp.info after May 1st. TBMP has become fully integrated into the culture of tourism business operations in Juneau, involving over 100 companies and nearly 2,500 employees. Concerns?
