Darbie
Darbie is a dapper fellow with a strong handsome face. His rugged good looks and dark striped tabby coloring could land him a spot in Hollywood, or maybe even on a Broadway stage. Luckily for the rest of us, Darbie is more of a friendly family man. He enjoys domestic life and likes sitting on your lap or maybe playing with some toys. He occasionally will give a gentle bite to let you know if you’ve been petting him for too long – too much of a good thing, and all that. But mostly he enjoys human attention and affection. If you don’t have time for him, that’s o.k. as he is cool just hanging out and looking good.
Fluffy J
There is really nothing fluffy about Fluffy J. He is a solid, strong young guy. His confident and independent personality matches his physique. Fluffy J is very playful and curious. He prefers action over quiet cuddling, but he will allow for friendly petting as long as you don’t try to hold him too close for too long. Much like an active teenage boy, he will push you away and complain – “Aww, Mom! Not in front of my friends!” Fluffy J gets along well with other cats and just about everyone he meets. His short, trim gray and white fur coat match his no-nonsense attitude.
Fraggle
What do you get when you combine a snaggle tooth with a friendly but shy guy? Fraggle! This bashful young kitty has lovely long black and white fur, but he’s a bit embarrassed by his one snaggle tooth that is a result of a slightly crooked jaw. He likes people and will snuggle on your lap while you gently pet him. However, his favorite place at the moment is an out of the way spot where he can safely sit and hide. He would prefer a quiet home where he feels secure and protected. Fraggle is young enough that he can grow and develop enough confidence to venture further out into the world. There’s nothing wrong with him that a little tender, loving care in a forever home won’t cure.
Mr. Shmoo
Mr. Shmoo could be mistaken for a small Cowardly Lion with the fluffy mane of fur that frames his face. He is recovering from an unknown mishap that happened before he was brought to the shelter, so right now his fur is a little bedraggled. If you use some imagination you can easily see how he will grow into a beautiful little lion cat. He is still trying to figure out where he is and what’s going on around him so he is a bit fearful when you first meet him. Fortunately, he responds well to petting and gentle cuddling so there is no doubt that given a loving healthy environment he will grow into a gorgeous long-haired beauty.
