Katarina
This lovely lady has been living large for most of her life and is now a pleasingly plump kitty who loves all kinds of attention. Katarina has beautiful gray fur with peach and white markings. She knows that she should probably lose a little weight, especially because she has trouble if you try to pick her up or have her sit on your lap. Her has an overall friendly attitude and likes to show her appreciation with happy head bumps, face rubs and gentle purring. If you leave a blanket lying around she is likely to crawl under it and hide rather than sitting on top of it, but she is so large that it’s not difficult to find her underneath!
Cal
Cal is a rough tough cream puff. This large young tomcat (neutered, of course!) is somewhat coarse looking at the moment, having probably suffered a hard knock life until he found a safe place at the shelter. But he is oh, so sweet and deeply appreciative of any small kindness you show him. His short white fur coat is slowly smoothing out as he is nourished with regular meals and a warm bed. He gets along well with other cats and settles in to new places with a calm, steady air, like a big, white Buddha. He loves being held and petted but is equally at ease sitting quietly on his own. Cal should grow into a magnificent cat.
Cherry Girl
Cherry Girl is a sweet long-haired kitty with soft black and orange tabby coloring. She is a lover of life – it’s amusing to watch her roll over in delight when she is happy, which is pretty much most of the time. She gets along well with people, but she is not immediately friendly with other cats although that could change over time as she gets used to her surroundings. She will give a low growl when startled or scared but it is more of gentle warning than a threat. Usually you will find her friendly and playful, giving little purring chirps and meows as she greets you with a welcoming “Hi! How are you today?!”
Isabel
Sweet and shy, Isabel is a loving little lady who is still finding her way in the big wide world. She has an endearing way of gently coming to you for love and reassurance and likes nothing more than sitting calmly and quietly in your lap. Black with pretty white markings, she has a delicate build to go along with her winsome personality. Her favorite activity is sitting in a quiet, out of the way spot or cuddling in your lap. If there is too much commotion around her she may get upset and verbalize her displeasure by hissing but be assured that she is not upset with you personally, just the noise or disturbance that is scaring her. Other than that one little quirk, she is perfectly well-mannered.
