“WOW Apartment Collapse Accident After the Korean War, since the population of Seoul has surged from the late 1950s to the 1960s, the number of bad buildings rapidly increased.Wow apartment was a citizen apartment built in Woosan area of Seoul. In addition, because of the bribe that was bribed in order to win a construction permit, we had to save the construction materials, so we had to build 70 reinforcing bars to insure five reinforcing bars. As a result, about 4 months after the completion of construction, on April 8, 1970, 640 people died in the apartment building, 33 people were killed and 38 others were injured. As a result of the safety inspection of the entire citizen apartment after the Wow apartment case, it became clear how poorly the citizen apartment was built.

Korea Apartment Landscape In the 1980s, the population of the Republic of Korea continued to increase, but the number of houses in which they lived was in short supply. Especially, the population of Seoul metropolitan area became saturated, and the construction of housing including the development of the area was started, but the increasing population could not be stopped, and the housing price was soaring. I announced a housing development plan, which is Bundang New City and Ilsan New City. A living space called an apartment complex confined our city and daily life. After the compression growth, the apartment became a symbol of the rapidly expanding middle class and modern residential environment. It became an icon to standardize everyday life and to cut off communication in the city.

Reinterpretation of Painting and Architecture Mondrian decomposed past paintings into points, lines, and surfaces, and reconstructed them. Le Corbusier had introduced a Domino system that uses reinforced concrete to define the basic elements of a building. This collage is for great artists who have redefined basic elements. Use things that have influenced my design philosophy.

Maintheme is comprehensively dealing with the features of the cubes had been exploring. It is dynamic and harmonious with the function, and made a new attempt by architecture. Rethink the present many buildings and make better results. The project is to design a kindergarten. The goal was to design a building that was very simple and nearby. cap

Simplyfy Basic Cube Through reason
Just as CĂŠzanne interpreted all objects in the world as geometry, I also simplified the shape of the building into geometry. It is like a starting point to go back to basic forms and explore modernism again. Le Corbusier used the basic cube as the standard of beauty. Of the four types of housing, it appears in the Citroan house.A basic cube symbolizes reason and puts the best balance between humans in modernism.

Deformation Cube As City
Maintheme is to make a complex and urban appearance again through the simplified cube. So, I made a picture of modern city through various variants. And hopes to lead back to architecture through it. Rebuilding behavior with multiple prototypes. A pictorial interpretation of the city, comfort, ambiguity, public and semi public, , etc could be possible in here.

3. DYNAMIC CUBE Dynamic cube means that makes the existed objects dynamically.
Dynamic Cube Deformation
The culture of the Baroque period showed a dynamic shape through a single diagonal line and curves based on the existing Renaissance culture. Here I learned the wise aspects of the past and manipulated the cube again. The dark lighting and the realistic expression in the paintings of Caravaggio appeared as a dynamic line in the facade of the curve in architecture. A simple cube symbolizing reason has a fate that can eventually be transformed.

3. [RECONSIDER] DYNAMIC CUBE Beyond dynamic
Beyond Dynamic Exploration of Ideas
Realize various ideas for cubes to what extent can I apply deformations. In this question I have also transformed the cube around and made it more coherent as an internal form. In a more grotesque way, transforming with computer technology. Explore the shape of the box with its corners but with curved surfaces An endless construction demonstrates the potential for the box.

Organic Form "In harmony with the terrain in the slope of the mountain."

Light It encloses the place where the light comes in. The contrast with the massive masses raises it intensely.
FREE FORM
41
Exploring Freeform Through Finding
The freeform is to discover or reinterpret through objects or nature. It can also be said to be something other than the geometry that represents human reason, which does not mean that there is a lack of order. Objects in and around nature have complex patterns. Represents patterns extracted from them via FreeForm. The quest for this form continued. It was mainly used in monumental buildings and museums, and was intended to influence people's feelings. Inspired :Egg plate An egg plate is more than a tool to hold an egg. The most effective way to capture natural objects is to create new patterns and shapes that inspire imagination in design.
