A LETTER FROM BRUCE NELSON OUR NEW HOA PRESIDENT
Hello! My name is Bruce Nelson I am your newly elected Sawmill HOA President. I’d like to share a little bit about myself. My husband Raffy and I purchased our home lot 762 in July of 2015 and have fell in love with Sawmill ever since. I am a business owner of three automobile dealerships and have been in the automotive business all of my life. My husband and I have been together for 10 years and we just celebrated our 5th year wedding anniversary this past September. We purchased our home with the intent to retire and grow old with you all. I was elected to the board in 2015 and served as your VP from February of this year and now the torch of the President has been passed on to me. I look forward to this journey and making the Sawmill the best place to call home. Sawmill most recently received an award as being the best Gay Campground in America! My goal as your President is to expand on that award and to make Sawmill the best Gay Campground community in America. I am asking us all to come together and all realize this is our home, our community and together this can be achieved. I plan to hold the first ever Sawmill Town Hall Meeting on November 18th 2017. I encourage all the shareholders and residents to attend. We will not be having the 30 minute open forum meeting that normally starts our business meeting we will start the business meeting at 9:30 am with the board and the Shareholders and then immediately following this meeting we will be inviting all the residents in and to start our Town Hall meeting.

I will let you know my goal as your President is the desire to bring Sawmill back to an exciting and enjoyable place to live and call home. Although I know this is a huge task, I think we can do this together! My tenure as President is not to repeat the past but to learn from it and to be completely transparent. My goal with this Town Hall Meeting is to keep everyone informed and up to date on what is going on at Sawmill and no longer keeping anyone in the dark. My plan during this meeting is to hear from you on the positive ways Sawmill can improve and move forward. With that being said, I ask that you do not come to this meeting to just sit there and complain instead please bring some positive suggestions or thoughts on how to grow Sawmill. Please understand if you come with the idea to disrupt this meeting in any way shape or form I will ask you to leave. I ask you to respect everyone at this meeting and will not tolerate any personal attacks from anyone attending. Its time to Heal and Grow and make 2018 the best year Sawmill has ever seen Please come join me and your board and Sawmill Management Team and lets get back to “ Living the Dream” we can only do this together. I look forward to seeing you all there. REMEMBER WE ARE SAWMILL!

A LETTER FROM
OUR NEWEST BOARD MEMBER After years of enthusiastic support for the gay camping industry in media and across the country, I was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors of Sawmill Resort Homeowners Association, Inc. I accept the responsibility with humble gratitude and the understanding that Sawmill serves many different interests, customers and associates. Tasks done well are seldom easy and passions inflamed are difficult to extinguish. One thing is certain, my efforts, energies and leadership will please some and disturb others. I know this because the job at hand is difficult, changing and unending. As a community we face challenges interwoven in local politics, governmental oversight and personal interests. As a community we will be most successful focusing our energies and resources on the primary challenges at hand, working together to move Sawmill in a positive direction and resisting temptations to lose momentum mired in unproductive agendas. Together, we as a community have every interest to adjust the culture of Sawmill to a ‘customer first, customer yes’ mentality, to raise the standards throughout the business and facility and to include everyone, owners, customers, associates and vendors as key players important to the task at hand. Thank you for your trust and the opportunity to serve this vibrant community

A LETTER FROM REGGIE - BOARD MEMBER & CHAIRMAN OF THE ACC Hi Residents, As the chairman of the ACC, I just wanted to post a few friendly reminders. First and foremost, we ask that everyone please refrain from feeding any feral cats or wild animals that happen to be on property. Secondly, please remember that leases of 180 days or less are
allowed a pop-up tent with screening and can utilize awnings and awning screens that are attached to the RV. Also, don’t forget that SRHA has certain standards and rules that we must abide by, so please make sure your lots and sites are being consistently maintained at all times and most upgrades require approval of the SRHA Architectural Control Committee. 3 WWW.FLSAWMILL.COM
