Responsible for budgeting/estimating, sheduling deliverables, managing clients expectations, contractor coordination, project implementation, and onsite wall raising. Assist sales team with conceptual designs, graphics, 3d modeling, and renderings.

Step 1. Once the truck arrives on site; Coordinate the crew accordingly, 1 guy rigging on the truck while the crane flys the panels onto the deck.

Step 2. Have atleast 3 guys on the deck setting the panels as they come in. Once a panel is attached to floor, attach temporary bracing to hold the panels in place.

Step 3. When the shell is completely together, I begin setting the columns and ridge beams in place. Then we start to set the trusses in place. Once the trusses are up, my job is done. The rest is left to the GC.

Private residence. Conceptual plans and sections for a 20’ wide single family house with a 4br/2ba layout. Started working in section to detail the structure.

Elevations and sections. Looking at the building in section to determine how spaces would relate to eachother within a narrow space. Drawing Elevations to work the design into the existing fabric of the historic neighborhood.

The Green Crescent Project

The vision is to make the greater Clemson area a better place to live, work, and play by connecting the places we love with a safe & easily-accessible network of pedestrian and biking pathways.

Bike and Bus. The map on the left proposes a new pedestrian and bike path connecting clemson to the north forest. This path mainly utilizes existing infrastructure. The map on the right proposes a new cat bus route along hwy 133.

Sharrow 1. There is potential to have bike sharrows along hwy 133. This would extend the pedestrian zone past downtown and allow bikers to have a safe path in and out of campus.

Sharrow 2. The bike sharrows could extend into the north forest of clemson’s extended campus. There are many of popular bike/hiking trails here. A sharrow would be heavily utilized allowing pedestrians to have a safe path to travel.

The Box Project

This project was assigned during ITC (intro to craft). Design a box to be hand made under 275 cubic inches with a operational lid. I decided to keep it simple and make a box that utilizes no hardware, focusing on materials, contrast, and craft.

Box #1. A gift for my fiance with our wedding date laser etched on the lid. The box is constructed of mahogany with a douglas fir lid and trim.

Box #2. The material used here are reversed from box #1 and the scale slightly modified. The douglas fir in this case creates a lighter feel.

Box #3. During the coarse of making these boxes each one got significantly better. This box is constructed of english oak with a lignum vitae lid. The grain pattern and contrast, coupled with the quality of craftsmanship made this box the best of all 3.

The Structure. The 1/8” sheets made for an extra light yet very rigid frame. Keeping the weight down allows me additional cargo weight and makes an efficient boat by using less material.

The Guts. Design on the front end allowed me to create channels and tunnels which i used for plumbing and electrical chases.

Personal Fishing Boat

Personal Design+Build project:17’ center console aluminum fishing boat. Designed the entire boat using only 1/8” aluminum sheets allowing me to utilize a CNC router.

The Finishes. I chose to use a vinyl 3m camo wrap on the exterior. The interior is coated in a off white, non slip, rubberized coating that provides a nice texture over the aluminum.

Construction Process. Sketching the design onto vellum gave us the template to build from. To achieve the necessary arch, we utilized the steaming method.

Finished Model. Utilizing the arch, we was able to create an efficient structure with a satisfying weight to strenght ratio.

Structure Charette With a partner, using only 1/8 x 1/8 basswood sticks, construct a bridge to be tested to the breaking point.

Breaking Point. The consensus of failure was due to the bracing in between the arches which was constructed of supports running parallel to the main support beam.

Lee Hall Representation Lee Hall at Clemson University is one of the foremost sustainable learning enviroments in the US, achieving LEED Gold certification. Our project, in teams of 2, was to recreate Lee Hall at a scale of 1/8=1’.

Preliminary Layout. Digitally modeling the structure before construction created accurate templates and overviews.

Section Cuts. The Longitudal and Transverse section cuts allowed views of the columns and how they are utilized to support the structure.

Final Model. Modeling the entire structural framing system of Lee Hall versus just a section, detailed exactly how the structure works and handles loads.
