PASSOVER PLANNING
The Jewish Community prepares for Passover
E
very Passover, families from the greater Rhode Island Jewish community gather at their Seder table to retell one of the greatest stories ever –the Israelites’ exodus from Egypt. The haggadah, which means “telling,” is a book that guides the rituals of the meal and recounts the Passover story – the dramatic account of the journey from slavery to freedom. Turn to pages 22-23 to read about how Estelle Millman and others in our community prepare for this special holy day.
