Programs & Resources Whenever you need them

UCO excels at providing facilities to help students succeed in all areas of life. Central’s campus is fully equipped with amenities to help its students achieve their goals. Central encourages its students to adopt a healthy lifestyle and provides quality recreational opportunities to meet the ever-changing needs of a diverse community. • UCO’s Wellness Center is a fully equipped, state-of-art fitness center complete with basketball courts, work out equipment, and a climbing wall. It is also an official training site for the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic teams. • Other facilities include volleyball courts, a soccer field, a football stadium, swimming pools and even a barbecue pit. • UCO offers many food options on campus including reasonably priced restaurants, healthy food options and fast food, including our very own Starbucks. • UCO also has the amenities such as computer labs, a bank, ATM machines, a Barnes & Noble bookstore, an Apple Tech store, mail services, Mercy Clinic, our Max Chambers Library and so much more.

The Centre for Global Competency provides a number of services to international students: • Broncho Buddies pairs domestic students with international students for cultural exchange and fun. • CRISP (Community Responding to International Students Program) connects international students with American families. • MERGE allows international students to collaborate with UCO faculty on academic projects in classes aimed at promoting global and cultural competencies.

Your Home Away from home


UCO’s International House facilitates global engagement and inter-cultural proficiencies by bringing together Central’s students, staff, faculty and community. Drawing upon its mission to catalyze transformative learning experiences, the house serves as a venue for the university and outside groups to host programs and events. Those range from cooking lessons and World Cup watch parties to after-school kids programs, faculty enhancement trainings, and civic club meetings. In addition, a stay-a-day program serves visiting faculty, guests of the university, and international students with an emergency need.

Career Services UCO Career Services leads and empowers current and former UCO students in their career development. The staff and services are available to help students choose plans of study (i.e. majors), to find internships, and to ultimately find full-time employment upon graduation.
