11 June 2009
As originally announced in March 2008, the RE/MAX Commercial logo has been refined and is now a registered trademark. As a result, no other version(s} of the logo, property sign and business card may be used after July 1, 2009. In recent years the newer, red-over-white-over-blue-over-gray, RE/MAX Commercial Io1~o has emerged as the image of choice in marketing and personal promotion materials used by RE/MAX Commercial Practitioners across the network. This identity is competitively positioned with the other industry leaders and uses the best of the RE/MAX brand while including the distinguishing elements that speak to the business-to-business, commercial marketplace. Details about the change can be found on pages 37-40 in the 13th edition of the RE/MAX Tredemark end Graphic Standards manual. These same pages can also be found online in the Commercial Resource Center on RE/MAX Mainstreet (remax.net). Many RE/MAX Approved Suppliers are already manufacturing signs, business cards, and other items with the "official" mark. The "official" commercial logo reinforces more than 30 years of the powerful brand building achieved by the RE/MAX name, logotype, image and other marks. The change ensures that for decades to come the RE/MAX Commercial logo remains synonymous with the highest quality real estate services available anywhere. Again, all new materials will need to depict the "trademark compliant" RE/MAX Commercial identity, July Ist, 2009. Additionally, the RE/MAX Commercial Information Exchange (CIE) was launched in January of this year. Commercial listings do not automatically pull from the local MLS like residential. Therefore, the RE/MAX CIE is only way RE/MAX Commercial properties get listed on the commercial property search of remax.com. Sincerely,
