The Art Institute of Chicago celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Modern Wing with its bi-annual gala, Masterpiece19, on May 4. The spectacular event, raising vital funds for the museum’s operations, was co-chaired by Andrea and Jim Gordon, Stephanie and John Harris, and Nancy and Scott Santi. Nearly 400 guests enjoyed delicious bites at the reception in the museum’s Modern Wing, which included engaging installations and a special performance by the Chicago Children’s Choir. Guests then proceeded across the street to a tent on the South Promenade of Millennium Park for dinner and an after-party. Following dinner, guests danced the night away to a performance by music industry legends, The Temptations.
