On May 7, Brain health advocate and UsAgainstAlzheimer’s (UsA2) board member Karen Segal hosted A Courageous Conversation at Neiman Marcus Northbrook Court, detailing the latest risk reduction research as part of UsA2’s nationwide launch of the Be Brain Powerful Campaign. The guest panel included Meryl Comer, Darby Morhardt, and Kelly O’Brien.

25th Annual Spring Luncheon

The Woman’s Board of Rush University Medical Center hosted its 25th Annual Spring Luncheon. 530 guests enjoyed a reception and seated lunch, followed by an inspiring speech by keynote speaker Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland, who also serves as Chair of The Elders, UN Special Envoy on climate Change, and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. More than $300,000 was raised and will support the Medical Center’s education, research, and community service programs.
