Tunes and tasty fare thrive at 210 Live
KINDNESS COUNTS Donated classroom furniture heartens North Shore school and city schools

Is the Highwood restaurant 210 Live—located at the corner of Green Bay and Half Day roads— known more for its eclectic comfort fare or for its frequent live music performances? Too close to call. Especially this time of year. Musical acts, beginning this weekend and through early September, will pack the hotspot, which also celebrates the addition of awardwinning chef Peter McCarthy. Chef McCarthy has streamlined the menu, sure to be hit with music lovers with its tasty barbecue offerings. Featured events for the month include a benefit concert, the Nashwood Festival and a Fall for Music Fest. On August 19, 210 Live will host a benefit for musician J.B. Ritchie, who has been a part of this music community for more than four decades. Many musicians will be donating their time and creating some healing relief for Ritchie in his time of need. Donations will be gratefully accepted. The Nashwood Festival, set for August 24-26 (pre-party on August 23), will transform Highwood into a North Shore Music City, embracing
