N A R R AT I O N S O J O U R N E The Raven of Citrus Feathers: I was born to guide the song To eclipse and shadow the melody of his progression Gifted to watch and speak of a beautiful journey, tasked to speak of bravery and loss, triumph and joy Of his fight with ghosts who try, to break, burn, or remake him. Of an azure nation who presented a vision of love This is my privilege, this my path To watch a desert boy defy fear, and embrace the truth within. Bard I I’m here To share the story of a boy His vision and his soulful journey so please take my voice & plant it in a garden to bloom Because the truth is within you. Narration Paean The Raven of Citrus Feathers: How graceful is a mother’s love? How warm her embrace? Watching over this prince of sand and song, she compliments his confidence. I watch envious as dust becomes gold in her hand as they journey His mother is peace and purity. Behold, this lowly ambassador as I speak of this son of joy. Watch as she protects him. Seize this love as it flows from his lips to her heart. And listen as he sings to her.

A N G E L MOT H E R Desert Boy: You smiled at me As we walked through this desert land for an eternity It seems like the distance was too long for my little feet.

You watched over me As I’m over taken by all the joy of this gentle peace Morphing into breeze, as I learned to gently spread my wings.

So you carried me So close to your heart that I grew with every single beat Very single beat, every single beat of pure love.

I, sang what I learned I, sang like a bird I, sang, but you heard, Angels Mother

You stood by me Became the shade of confidence over this blazing sun Helping no one, for its too bright for anyone to see. I, sang to you I, sang for you I, sang through you My Angel, Mother. You smiled at me As we journeyed to the palace of singing trees Lead by a spirit form the south of the land we came. He spoke to me Told me of all the wanders I can find if I embrace The gift of this place, & grab hold of the feelings that remain.

You smiled at me As you hugged my heart with all of your pride With no shame to hide, with every gate you open to set me free. I, sang to you I, sang for you I, sang because I knew That you are my Angel, Mother. You are my angel

N A R R AT I O N – P R I S O N S O F S A N D & S TO N E The Raven of Citrus Feathers: Be still, and let your senses feel The echoes of the Labyrinth along with shadows concealed It is through a prison of sand and stone this pilgrim finds his way Wrought with apparitions that would attempt to imprison him But through the contorted cloak of loss and anger intertwined My dear friend shall find his blessed path through his decline

LABYRINTH Desert Boy and Inner Voice: Its customized with their own intent With doors, & halls, & walls of sands moving as if alive with their ignorance. Paralyzed with all these visions Its an open sky but your told its too high for you, to climb out of this mental prison

Its maximized for

They Say: Welcome to your labyrinth In here your soul will never be content And all of your mind will lose its innocence Welcome to your labyrinth

They Say: Welcome to your labyrinth In here your soul will never be content And all of your mind will lose its innocence Welcome to your labyrinth

minimum success Also minimized for maximum internal stress With twists & turns as your heart yearns for the sweet pain of soul’s nourishments Its an open sky but your told its too high for you, to climb out of this mental prison

And the ghosts there, elder ghosts there are very unkind They seem familiar to the fables I heard when I was nine The primogenitor tells me to kiss their hands & submit to be fine But my angel sends me images to know these ghosts are not mine And I should decline. Yes I should decline. Still they say: Welcome to your labyrinth

N A R R AT I O N – TH E PU LS E OF CE LESTIAL DRUMS Press'd on by the beating of celestial drums, a resounding courage resides within him, While the world quakes from melodies strummed, the vault of heaven opens as doubt resigns, Breaking shackles that would ensnare his dreams, the sand no longer its swelling surge confined, See now over chains desert boy so sublimely rides. And watch as he brethes and ascends.

TO LO U ( TH E ASCE N SIO N ) Consciousness: You must listen To the sound The pulse of the Universe Connection to the ONE Beating, pounding Fierce rhythm Regular calling deep within Beating in your chest Your heart Residence of your soul Your deepest longings Pulling you beyond comfort Beyond stories Plans of others Cultural conditioning and acceptance To bravely venture forth Beyond the chains that would bind you The walls that divide you From the passions in your heart Abandon the parched places Your hungry soul is craving more Leave the desert of your knowing Beyond anything you have dreamed There is SO much more possible Then you could ever know

Comprehend Imagine Beating, Breathing Beating, Breathing Follow the pulse The drumming of your soul Nowhere Nothing Other than this It will guide you Lead you home Come Walk Then run Do not look back Listen Follow Just beating Breathing Beating Breathing

N A R R AT I O N – DESTINY IN THE BLUE DESERT The Raven of Citrus Feathers: There was a story of a world that lived in apricity under argent colored tears, And within, my dear friend, burned the fables that made his heart ensnared The legacy of the blue desert of the empyrean lamentations that came before his very first breath Yes, this is where his destiny would lead him next.

PEOPLE OF THE BLUE DESERT Desert Boy: Silver sad salty tears Are of when a thousand moons cried After hearing of the lament Of Pangaea’s separation The wind so strong with despair It created the tides Through the Charka of the hearts & sound Came a new generation. Called the people of the blue desert

Shimmering dancing stars Are on top of their moving sands These are souls of their realm They speak only in beautiful silence They are generous & aware Of elements, energies, & lands And to find your way there Spirits & stones will be your guidance. To the people of the blue desert Angel/Mother : If you decide to go Make sure its with your heart For you to find your path You must curse a mark on your arm The Elders : For that from here You will forever be shunned You’ll be symbolized with the shame Never to return... From the land of the blue...desert. (Angel Mother): It will become your home. (The Elders): You’ll be no longer one of our own.

BARD II

He fears his calling Colored limbs mark the rocks on his road Because he knows The elders will only curse & scold So please take his words Plant them in a prayer of peace to bloom Cause the truth is with in you And the courage is with in you

N A R R AT I O N – TH E FAC E L E S S SPHERE

The Raven of Citrus Feathers: The planet of contemplation shone brilliantly but silently, a solemn watchmen over the thoughts of he and I And though the labyrinth tested his mettle, and the stories of the past tested his heart This jaded planet would not bathe him in grace, but the boy born of the desert piqued the interest of this faceless sphere more than he would ever know

MO O N L E S S P L A N E T Desert Boy: Moonless Planet, speaks only to her sisters of the dark Her faith is slow, floating sadly away from any spark I feel like, that gloomy giant out there I don’t like, orbiting in fear Moonless planet, sings only melancholy melodies Her pride is shattered, bleeding atmosphere, refusing remedies I feel like, that gloomy giant out there I don’t like, orbiting in fear Moonless planet, sees only in jaded images Her core is too cold, to decipher her angel’s messages I feel like, that gloomy giant out there I don’t like, orbiting in fear Her faith, it is slow, as she runs fast from her past Her pride is shattered, as she’s glued to a dark solid mass Her core it is cold, as she warms up to Evil’s grasp Her smile it is lost, but I’m hoping that won’t last.

N A R R AT I O N – PR AYE R TO TH EORIA The Raven of Citrus Feathers: The desert boy led by a vision, seeks the sign that will grant him validation. But Before he sleeps, he prays. Desert Boy: Dearest Theoria, what dream will I inherit? What humbled thoughts detailing the future do you foresee? The Raven of citrus Feathers: My beautiful Theoria, it is an omen he request in his vows as he call out to you... Desert Boy: Isma’ene, ya kowkub al-ta’mul (Translation: Hear me, O’ Planet of Contemplation)

TH EORIAS DREAM Theoria: Lay down your burden, open your mind & let it flow Listen to the wind singing, let it go, let it go There is a message for you’re here from a light of a presence from above Muster all your courage child for this words are not gentle at all, not gentle at all Your soul is at stake This journey you must take Otherwise you will be like the ghosts in your world Your mind will be stiff & your heart will be grieving Unless you consciously walk the path that you’ve been given From now on You won’t be walking alone

N A R R AT I O N – H E A D I N G H I S H E A R T The Raven of Citrus Feathers: I’ve watch as he he sojourned, despite warnings and fear, they demanded his submission But instead he revolts, submitting himself to Theoria’s dream. If they could see what I see - this girl born of cerulean sand. He of the Desert. She of the Ocean. Bravely living in the face of their people, their history – and they bid each other come.

LAND & SEA Desert Boy: There was a little boy, living on a land of gold Exploring his vast home He finds a wet blue desert sand unfold. And they told him don’t go It will devour you into a foreign land They told him don’t go It will drawn you where you stand It will devour you into a foreign land, and it will drawn you. Ocean Girl: There a little girl, living in the ocean bed Exploring her vast home She finds a dry yellow sea ahead They told her don’t go It will fill you with so much grim They told her don’t go It will suffocate you if you swim It will fill you with so much grim, it will suffocate you.

Desert Boy & Ocean Girl: Then came the night, they couldn’t ignore, the song of that moon She followed the tide, he followed the light, till they both reach a lagoon In different tongues they spoke Into laughter they broke As they talked of their people’s ways. But they soon realized, though their lives might be tied They each had to go home They each had to go alone. They don’t him don’t go But he wouldn’t listen to them They don’t her don’t go But she paid them no attention They told them don’t go Cause it will devastate you.

N A R R AT I O N – H E R L U C I D S O N G The Raven of Citrus Feathers: After their encounter they find themselves separated so what of the Ocean Girl? What of the maiden formed of the blue crystal desert? The dew of the ocean carries her lucid song, faintly - faintly, we hear.

LUCID Ocean Girl: My mind flows My eyes close Patterns of you, Lost in a dream Thoughts in a cloud, not what it seems Try to move on, laugh at the thought And cry…. My heart chose My soul knows Lost in your smile, breath of your will Sonnets of faith, voices so still Colorful dove, falling in love And fly… Oooooooooooooo My arms hold The sun’s glow Embraces of light, slipping away Invisible shore, keeps love at bay Mystical tides, refusing goodbyes So I’ll try…

N A R R AT I O N – W H I S P E R E D T H A N K S The Raven of Citrus Feathers: Though this path has not been without perils, he born of the sand has found strength beyond the golden kingdom. Hushed mysteries of an ancient age, a noble time, he calls to you saying “Shukran”. He calls to you saying “I thank you”.

S H U KR AN MY TOTE M Desert Boy and Inner Voice: Amplifier of all the healing energy You filled my mind with autumn colored imagery Of ancient creatures of wisdom, Who would speak to me In tongues of nobility And all your shamans & their peaceful symmetries Are baring gifts of strength for my adversities Symbolized not in gold, But in earthly seeds of trees To bloom me from my weary knees Shukran my Totem. Isolated by my conflict’s mystery Scaling mountains of dualistic clarity Steadfast for the sake of responsibility With no regard to destiny Then like the restless tundra of winter’s tenacity I migrated the doubts of my prosperity & deciphered the gloom away from my mythology Now reality’s light is free Shukran my Totem.

N A R R AT I O N – I G N I T E T H E S U N The Raven of Citrus Feathers: It is her. The Ocean Girl. The sun lived in her smile, which is now absent. Rarely have I lived in the sky without the warmth of the sun. The desert boy’s brow is burdened with this new darkness. And thus his quest is to restore her smile to reignite the sun.

LOST TH E S U N Desert Boy with the echoes of Ocean Girl: Gloomy day I know you will not understand this You’ve been an old friend But now I must ask you to be vanquished Yes I know, I know I’ve been your home for so long till my soul turned dim Yes I know, but my heart Is overgrown for your vileness to live in it Because now I will quest to the edge of this realm To fight dragons & demons made of venom Filled with nothing but hatred in them To find her smile For without my love’s light I have lost The sun. Oracle I know your trust in me has faded I am to blame Was full of walls, full of thoughts ever so jaded Yes I know, yes I know You’ve been my home for so long till my soul turned dim Yes I know, but my heart Is open now for your wisdom so please help me win

Because now I will quest to the edge of this realm To fight dragons & demons made of venom Filled with nothing but hatred in them To find her smile For without my love’s light I have lost The sun. Sister Muse I know your faith in me is shaken Fickle & a fool I neglected to see that I was breaking... ...Your heart, with my thoughts That all I do is all for me until our souls turned dim But right now, I’m here again A humble man, a tortured spirit, so please heal my grim Because now I will quest to the edge of this realm To fight dragons & demons made of venom They’re filled with nothing but hatred in them To find her smile But I need the wisdom of your oracle mother & the voice of your local decent lover & the song to bind her fears in purple leather to find her smile For without my love’s light I have lost The sun. Lovely day I’m so glad you are not forsaken Now with my lover’s smile, the sun is here for your taking

N A R R AT I O N – FA B L E S O F D U S T The Raven of Citrus Feathers: And here we are, the conclusion of one tale and the beginning of eternity. For the Land of Orinth has accepted the desert boy and in return I was given purpose. My citrus-colored wings give lift as I fly back to the moonless planet, Theoria. Looking back at the young boy born of the sand, who now stands as a man - I am proud to call him... friend. I am a raven soaring as his ally and telling his story - of hope, and love - of joy, and dedication in the face of sorrow. I am thankful for these fables of dust.

LAND OF ORNITH Desert Boy & The Welcomer of the Land of Ornith: Beautiful shore With new colors of wisdom for my core Vibrant feelings for me to explore With open arms you have let me in Beautiful land Believing in gravity is not your trend Awakening dreams through the touch of your hand Repealing reality out of my skin Habibti ya ard al-toyou-r (translates to: My love, the land of birds) Land of Ornith Beautiful Raven With citrus feathers you were given Contentiousness in flight of a higher vision So I can safely, from a distance, look upon my past

Beautiful air With the loveliest fragrance to vaporize despair Replaced by a universal natural love affair And calmness to the soul that can never be surpassed Habibti ya ard al-toyou-r (translates to: My love, the land of birds) Land of Ornith Beautiful friend Your elements of light, love, and life has no end Your language of courage allowed me to comprehend Our bodies might be limited, but our minds are free Our lives are not immortal, but our souls can be Our histories may build kingdoms, but it does not define me. Our histories may build kingdoms, but it does not define me. Our histories may build kingdoms, but it does not define me.

BARD III So please take our voice Plant it in a forest of love to bloom Because the truth is with in you And the courage is with in you And The universe is in you Yes the universe is in you. The universe is in you.
