Imperial Oil says that construction of Kearl Phase 1 is approximately 87 per cent complete and progressing on schedule. Reassembly of modules reduced in size to be transported on U.S. interstate routes continues at site.

Canadian Oil Sands reports that front-end engineering and design is now complete for its $4.6-billion Mildred Lake mine train replacements. The target in-service date for the $1.6-billion Syncrude Emissions Reduction Project has now been extended into the first quarter of 2012.

The work was expected to take three to five weeks to complete and is not anticipated to result in changes to production guidance.
