every year, I traveled 10+ hrs leaving the city behind to be with my grandparents on their farm

i spent barefoot balmy days cooling off in their soil
on their porch I learned to crocheted with my Grandma & played Checkers with Pop. We canned some of the harvest for our family back north.
my grandparents' farm introduced me to freedom. i dedicate the Garden Variety Collection to them. #rip
