Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics

The Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics (JSBE) is an innovative, active, and international scientific community with 1100 full time students, 170 doctoral students, 200 MBA students and 100 staff members. Research at the JSBE focuses on problems concerning the evaluation of businesses and organizations, and understanding their functions as parts of society. Research topics include applied economic research, labour markets, regional studies, different aspects of financial and management accounting in for-profit and non-profit organizations, strategic management, competitive analysis, business ethics, family businesses, entre- and intrapreneurship, and corporate environmental management. We have strong links with the surrounding community and actively promote our latest research results and professional expertise.
