K-State identification Find your Wildcat ID number (WID) at the top of your admission letter. This is your student identification number. You will need your WID to apply for on-campus housing and to verify your identity to university offices. Your eID is different from your WID.

If you have your own insurance that meets the university’s requirements and is valid in the U.S., please bring your insurance identification card. You will not be required to purchase the university health plan if you have qualifying proof of insurance. Immunization requirements All students are required to show proof of current MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella) vaccinations before enrollment at Kansas State University. Students should prepare to show proof of vaccinations received in their home country, translated into English. If a student has not received the MMR vaccination before arrival, it will be available at the Lafene Student Health Center during the first semester of attendance. If you will live on campus, it is recommended that you receive the meningitis vaccine; however, it is not required. You can receive the vaccination at our health center. Find out more at k-state.edu/lafene/ meningitis. Tuberculosis Testing International students are required by the state of Kansas and the university to be screened for tuberculosis. No student will be allowed to enroll in classes until tuberculosis screening is completed. Find out more at k-state.edu/lafene/international_students/international_students.html.
