The goal of the training course
The student or the student’s employer must have ordered the special tools required to be able to perform service and maintenance.
The overall objective of any Fire Eater College training course is however, for the student to gain a greater understanding of the most common guidelines when working with Fire Eater equipment.
In order to provide the best possible training environment, the Service technician training course is typically limited to 10-12 participants at a time.
The Service Technician training course A 2 day training course during which the student will gain overall knowledge of the various extinguishing agents on the market, with special focus on INERGEN®. The student will receive a thorough introduction to Fire Eater components, typically including Fire Eater’s Control Inert system (Ci-system), including stand-alone systems, selector valves and activation options. The introduction will also cover basic hardware theory within the Fire Eater product range and the rules and regulations which may have a influence on how the product should be handled.
The training is conducted in English, so participants should be reasonably competent in understanding written and spoken English.

raduates of Fire Eater College will take an exam in order to obtain a competency certificate with a validity of 3 years from the date of issue.
ff Service of detection systems and control panels is not included in the standard training course.
Most of the Service Technician course will be hands-on training.
Skills obtained during the training course After completing the training course, graduates should be able to service a Fire Eater INERGEN® system ccorrectly. This will typically include service and handling of cylinders in stand-alone and multi-zone systems, including correct handling and service of pressurised equipment, valves, actuators, piping, pressure relief, etc.
