High-pressure cylinders
for maximum operating safety and flexibility
General Description The fire safety philosophy behind Fire Eater A/S fire extinguishing systems is based on three basic principles:
ffProtecting LIFE ffProtecting ASSETS ff Protecting ENVIRONMENT All of these are fully met by Fire Eater high-pressure cylinders.
Great flexibility means substantial savings Fire Eater cylinders are under a pressure of 300 bar. The high gas compression ratio means fewer cylinders and valves, resulting in cost and space savings. The cylinders may be placed either vertically or horizontally, maximising flexibility for the design of your premises and the installation of the cylinders.
Safe transport and operation High pressures mean rigorous safety requirements – and maximum safety is top priority for the Fire Eater team developing these cylinders. For greater ease of handling, the cylinders are equipped with standard threaded valves. For safety reasons, the cylinders feature valve caps. The cylinders’ valves have been impact tested, so they will not break if knocked over without the valve cap in place. All valves are fitted with a rupture seal to relieve the cylinder pressure in the event of exposure to intense heat or fire. Fire Eater cylinders are the only fire extinguishers with both cylinder and valves that are pi-marked and TPED approved. That means there is no restriction on transportation in the filled state. Type
