WHAT COLLEGE STUDENTS KNOW ALLIANCE AS:

WHAT MIDDLE AGED ADULTS KNOW ALLIANCE AS:

SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN •  College Friends go to Alliance for their breakfast and coffee. •  One tells the other that she is engaged and wants the other to be the maid of honor. •  They talk about everything that goes into a wedding. They decide they would like one bakery to do all the baked goods, to keep a simple. •  Engagement Party •  Bachelor/ette party •  Dress rehearsal Dinner •  The Wedding Cake •  Reception goodies. •  The Alliance employee overhears and tells them about their amazing wedding cakes.

THE ALLIANCE WEDDING

Contest: The participates have to have at least 3 orders from Alliance Bakery. Alliance Bakery will post pictures of different brides cakes. The bride then will get her friends to like the page and like the picture of the cake. Random followers will get to like what cake they think is best. The winning cake after 3 months gets their wedding cake refunded!

ALLIANCE ALREADY HAS THESE CUSTOMERS:

CONTENT FOCUS Target Audience: Late College students who are starting their lives. When I thought about it and asked all my friends, we each knew someone that is in a serious relationship that could be proposed to any day, or already engaged. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google: Some keywords and hashtags I thought of was: •  Wicker Park Bakery •  Chicago Bakeries •  Alliance Bakery •  Alliance Bakery Wedding •  #alliancewedding They can keep this organized from their other facebook/pinterest actions by creating a specific album on facebook.

THE CHEESE

THE BROCCOLI

§ Different Themes § Different Layers § Flavors § Colors § Anything visual and taste

•  Prices •  Time Restraints •  Order Forms •  Coupons •  One stop shop!

Voice: We want to keep the fun, unique, trendy part of Alliance Bakery and transform that into our language all the while keeping it professional. Just as a college student does with their public social media profiles. The characters will talk like the average daily customer would talk.

TOPICS OF BLOG POST

Since Alliance Bakery is more about visuals and currently doesn’t have a blog it wouldn’t make sense to create one now. However they could share blog post on their Facebook and Twitter.

Check out this blog post we found for: •  Wedding planning •  Wedding tips •  Bride tips •  New baked good trends •  New wedding trends •  Wedding party tips

“Come to Alliance Bakery for all your bakery needs from breaking the news, to bachelorette party, and finally for the wedding cake…we got you.”

MEASUREMENT Alliance will be using Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. They will monitor their campaign success by their followers. Are they getting more followers? Are these followers ordering from us? Are these followers getting married soon? Currently Alliance Bakery does a really good job at listening and having an influence but they need more work on engaging and interacting. Alliance Bakery will use either tweetdeck or hootsuite to help measure their success. How many people participated in the contest on Facebook?

LIFE HAPPENS In order to keep up with their target market Alliance Bakery needs to be in the know. They need to know what is happening in the world. Unexpected event: Post about condolences if needed. Holidays: Show the holiday spirit by posting pictures of the holiday baked goods. Huge event such as The Grammys: Make a themed cake or simply put a poll up on the page and ask the audience who wants to win. Interact!
