Drawing pictures is my favorite thing. I can feel at ease while drawing. One day, I felt frustrated and depressed about my daily life. Then, I started to draw pictures while following my heart and feelings in order to relieve the pressure. Gradually, I created a character who represents me. He is a clown and also like a child. I think the clown is a role to make people feel happy but who leaves the sadness to himself. This personal trait is similar to me. Also, I really cherish the memory of my childhood, so I hope he could bring me back to my happy time. Everyone has a child inside, and I hope they could find it out and enjoy it when they see my work.

This was a theatre festival held in Tainan, Taiwan. There were four small drama plays which were played in the old houses. The theme of the festival was “Memory Exchange”. The curator hoped that people who came here could have a good memory with feeling the atmosphere of old houses and exchanging memories with the houses. Besides, the traditional night market could be found during the break time. This festival gave me a special experience. The visual of poster is a box with a lot of things. These things mean someone’s memories. Because I thought everyone had a personal box to keep their memories. The theatre festival was held in an old-building settlement, so I put some tickets and old photos and other things in the box. Besides, I set the box on the old house. I hoped this could attract people’s eyes to come to the festival and join in a “Memory Exchange”.
