Introduction Congratulations on the purchase of your Kaiser Baas Bluetooth Headphones. This user guide will help you to pair your Bluetooth Headphones to your Bluetooth device and how to use the controls.

Charging your Bluetooth Headphones Before you can use your Bluetooth Headphones, we recommend to charge the Lithium battery. Use the supplied USB cable to connect the Bluetooth Headphones to your computer to charge. A full charge will take up to four (4) hours. The red LED indicates that the battery is charging and will turn off when it is fully charged. When the battery is running low (during use), you will continually hear four (4) indicator tones. Connect the Bluetooth Headphones to your computer to recharge.

Pairing the headphones to your Bluetooth device To establish a connection, ensure you have enabled Bluetooth on the device that you want to connect to. Refer to the user manual that was included with your Bluetooth device on how to do this. To pair the Bluetooth Headphones to your Bluetooth device, press and hold the on / off button. You will see a flashing blue and red LED and you will hear an indicator tone. Keep holding the on / off button until you see the LED continuingly flashing red and blue. The Bluetooth Headphones are now in pair mode. Your Bluetooth device will detect the Bluetooth Headphones as KB-BT01.

Select KB-BT01 to connect to the Bluetooth Headphones. Some Bluetooth devices may require a pair code, enter 0000 when requested. When the Bluetooth Headphones have paired with your device, the blue LED will flash every four (4) seconds.

Connecting the microphone Included with the Bluetooth Headphones is a microphone that you can use for chat or record your own voice. Connect the microphone to the left hand side of the Bluetooth Headphones.

You can use the mute button to mute the attached microphone.
Microphone mute The mute button may not function in all software programs.

Volume control The Bluetooth Headphones have individual volume buttons to increase or decrease the volume independent of the device that you have paired to. The volume buttons are located next to the on / off button. The – button will decrease the volume and the + button will increase the volume. You will hear an indicator tone when the maximum level has been reached.

Playing music The Bluetooth Headphones have the ability to pause and resume a song when playing music. The on / off button located on the side of the headphones allow you to pause and play a song. Press the button once to pause and press again to resume. To skip a music track, press the next track button |<< on the right. To play a previous music track, press the previous track button >>| on the left.

Taking calls with your smart phone Press the on / off button on the Bluetooth Headphones to answer an in-coming call on your phone. If you are playing music, the song will pause while you take the call. Press the on / off button again to end the call. Press the play button to resume music playback.
Turning off the Bluetooth Headphones Press and hold the on / off button until you see a blue and red flashing LED. You will hear an indicator tone and the Bluetooth Headphones will turn off.

Pairing with a PS3 1. Prepare the Bluetooth compatible device and pass key. A pass key is a type of hardware ID used to
register, or pair, Bluetooth devices. Some devices may not require a pass key.
The pass key for the Bluetooth Headphones is 0000.
2. Select (Settings) > (Accessory Settings). 3. Select [Manage Bluetooth Devices]. If you have registered one or more Bluetooth devices, a list of

registered devices is displayed.
4. Select [Register New Device]. If you have not registered any Bluetooth devices, you will be asked if
you want to register the device. Select [Yes] to continue.
5. Select [Start Scanning]. Your PS3 system will display a list of Bluetooth devices within range
of the system.
6. Select the device that you want to register, or pair, with your PS3 system. Complete registration
by entering your Bluetooth deviceâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s pass key, if required.
The PS3 will detect the Bluetooth Headphones as KB-BT01. Select KB-BT01 to connect to the Bluetooth Headphones and enter 0000 if the pass key is requested.

Frequently asked questions Q. I have paired the Bluetooth Headphones but the volume is low, how can I increase the volume? A. The Bluetooth Headphones have individual volume buttons to increase or decrease the volume
independent of the device that you have paired to. The volume buttons are located next to the on / off

Q. How can I pause and resume a song when listening to music? A. The Bluetooth Headphones have the ability to pause and resume a song when playing music. The on /
off button located on the side of the Bluetooth Headphones allows you to pause and play a song.

Q. How can I skip tracks when playing music? A. The Bluetooth Headphones have the ability to skip tracks or to go to a previous track.
Located on either side of the on / off button is the previous track button >>| on the left and the next

Q. Can I use the Bluetooth Headphones and microphone attachment in Skype to chat? A. Yes, the Bluetooth Headphones are compatible with Skype. In the Skype software click ‘Tools’ > select
‘Options’ > Click ‘Audio Settings’ on the left > for ‘Microphone’ select ‘Headset Microphone (Bluetooth
Hands-free Audio) > for ‘Speakers’ select ‘Speakers (Bluetooth Hands-free Audio).
Q. I can hear four (4) indicator tones when I am using the Bluetooth Headphones, what does this mean? A. This indicates that the battery power is low. Use the provided USB cable to recharge the battery.

THE KAISER BAAS TWELVE (12) MONTH WARRANTY In relation to your purchase of a Kaiser Baas Product (“Product”), in addition to any warranties/guarantees that cannot by law be excluded, Kaiser Baas warrants to you that subject to the conditions and exclusions below, Kaiser Baas will, at its option, repair or replace any Product which is defective and is returned to Kaiser Baas within twelve (12) months of the date of purchase. D. PROCEDURE FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS
To make a warranty claim, you must:
(1) Deliver or send the defective Product to Kaiser Baas at its address shown above,
together with proof of purchase in the form of a dated receipt or tax invoice, and a
description of the Product’s defect/s. It is your responsibility to ensure that in
delivering the defective Product to Kaiser Baas, the Product is suitably packaged so
that it is adequately protected against damage during transit.
(2) Prior to delivering the defective Product to Kaiser Baas, you should (if applicable),
remove all files or data stored on the Product which you consider private or
confidential. (3) On receipt of the defective Product, proof of purchase and description of the
Product’s defect/s as required above, Kaiser Baas will assess the claim and notify you
of the claim’s outcome.
(4) Any expense associated with making a claim under the Kaiser Baas twelve (12)
month warranty are to be borne by you.

E. EXCLUSIONS FROM TWELVE (12) MONTH WARRANTY The Kaiser Baas twelve (12) month warranty does not apply if the Product: • Is modified or tampered with; • Is damaged by act of God, power surge, misuse, abuse, negligence, accident,
mishandling, wear and tear, misapplication, or other causes unrelated to defective
materials or workmanship;
• Is damaged by programs, data, viruses or files, or during shipment; • Is not used in accordance with the accompanying documentation and instructions; • Is repaired, modified or altered by anyone other than Kaiser Baas; • Is on-sold, assigned, transferred or leased to a third party. F. EXCLUSIVE REMEDY It is a condition of the Kaiser Baas twelve (12) month warranty that in making your claim: (1) Kaiser Baas is not liable to you for any loss of your data or information stored on the Product resulting from the repair or replacement of the Product; and (2) The repair or replacement of the Product is your exclusive remedy. G. NO OTHER WARRANTIES The twelve (12) month Kaiser Baas warranty referred to above is the only express warranty given to you, and subject to any applicable laws that cannot be excluded, is provided in lieu of all other express or implied warranties and conditions (if any) including any

created by any other documents or packaging. No information (oral or written) or statements made by Kaiser Baas, its agents or suppliers, or its or their employees are to be taken as amounting to a warranty or condition or expanding the scope of the Kaiser Baas twelve (12) month warranty, and if any such information or statements have been made they are hereby withdrawn.
H. CONSUMER RIGHTS You may have the benefits of other rights and remedies pursuant to law in relation to your purchase of the Product in respect of which liability may not be excluded or restricted. The conditions of the Kaiser Baas twelve (12) month warranty referred to above are subject to, and do not affect, such other rights and remedies. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
