Envelopes should be weighed to ensure that required postage stamps are pasted on them and your guests may not have to pay extra postage to receive them. This also ensures that your invites reaches on time and there is no delay. Also, correct weight and pasting correct stamps on them should be handled by professionals. If you want to avoid any hassles, prefer a courier service to handle it instead of you or any family member doing it. What they need is the guests list and they will take care of it all.

Choosing tiny little wedding invitations is also not a very good idea as some postal services prefer that envelopes are of a minimum size to avoid envelopes getting trapped in machinery.
