| Introduction My research interests are architectural design competitions. As you know, design competitions are not only winning and losing but also the moments when diverse areas such as politics, economics and geography overlap. It's no exaggeration to say that this energy becomes a major background that shaped moder n architecture and cities. Thinking about architecture in terms of such plurality reaffirms that architecture is established on the basis of the social environment, and whatever the program, architecture naturally belongs to the citizens and is established as a center of life and culture. In my opinion, an architect is a citizen who can add a new "line" to it. Â Therefore, Â my design concept is "From Feet to Sun" by examining every universals that passe through the site. I draw new lines in 3D by overlapping and interfering with them. It is also a trial to capture the autonomy of architecture and users while emphasizing the active autonomy of people and the natural environment. As a trajectory of such thinking, This portfolio shows selected works of Kaito Ikuta which have done in the past about 3 years. (2017-2020) November 11, 2020

With Denmark's transition to a social welfare state, the policy of making Sundholm a site for the redevelopment of poor neighborhoods has been in effect since 1996: from a forced labor facility built in 1908, it was transformed into a vocational training center and in 2000 became a homeless support area. In 2000, it became a support area for the homeless. It has gradually opened up from the state where the poor and drug addicts were isolated from society and a hospital was set up so that they could complete their lives inside, and now the public and private sectors are
