• Nowadays, young people have less leisure time after work. When they come home from work, they live alone and need more communication and stronger workplace connections. In the same way, en trepren eurs in t he early stage are eager for better platforms to expand their commun ication scope, so tha t they can exchange resources and contacts with each other and bring better opportunities for t he development of t he company. As a result, an industrial park con taining living space is t he best choice.

This plan is to design a new student activit y cen ter on the northeast side of the teaching building of Architecture College in XA UA T campus, which is req uired to be made into t ower because of t he limited area. In response to the beautiful view around the site and needs to have two different entrances, subtracting space in different directions has become a clue of this design.

Dig block and generate main space B

The intersection creates a connection between the two

The activity center needs a variety of functions, and there is a certa in relationship between th em. Therefore, each digged block in the cube corresponds to a kind of function, after digging the block again, the overlapping parts between the two are opened to form a connection. These overlapping parts can serve as internal circulation space between major spaces.
