A talented designer, host of Magnolia Network’s hit show Bargain Mansions, and a busy wife and mother of four, Tamara’s “laid back luxe” style is synonymous with blending glamour, comfort, and family into the look and function of the spaces she designs.

Tamara’s sense of style and eye for practicality have created an insatiable demand for her interior design expertise, furniture, and décor.

After graduating with a degree in communications at Kansas State, Tamara Day never thought she’d be where she is today, giving old homes new life. In 2008, Tamara took on the biggest project of all: a 5,000 square-foot 1980s foreclosed home that required a complete re-haul to make livable. Tamara designed every inch of the house herself, but the recession hit that same year and the Days had to quickly learn how to do a lot of things on their own, especially Tamara — so, she picked up a hammer and got to work.

Eventually, the project that turned out to be a diamond in the rough got the attention of local magazines. And now, years later, Tamara has made a design career for herself both on and off the screen.

The Juniper collection is designed with stunning simplicity in mind.

Tamara’s first home to air on Bargain Mansions was Juniper. She and her father worked on this home together and at the end of the build, her father purchased the home.

This home’s French chateau design and masculine feel inspired the Juniper collection.

These rugs are designed with stunning simplicity in mind. The clean lines and simple color ways allow this collection to speak to the imagination.

The Lee Boulevard collection is traditional with a touch of contemporary.

The Lee Boulevard home in the center of Kansas City inspired the Lee Boulevard collection. Nestled on four acres, this home offered a feeling set apart from the city.

This collection was born with a little bit of country in the sprawling cityscape.

Each rug represents a conventional design and showcases a color palette from warm and muted to bold and bright. These rugs will add life to your outdoor living space.

These rugs are power-loomed in Egypt from 100% polypropylene. They are openbacked and lightweight, making them easy to move.

The Warwick collection is classic, beautiful, and dramatic.

When designing a space, it is all about color and texture. So, when Tamara began developing these rugs, she knew she needed a collection with dramatic texture.

These rugs have a mix of bold colors and calming neutrals that reminded her of a house she designed on Warwick—classic, beautiful, and dramatic. The Warwick collection has a low pile base with over-tuft or high pile details making them versatile and exciting in any space. These rugs are made from 100% polyester and are lightweight and durable.

Hand-tufted in India and paired with Kaleen’s non-skid backing, these rugs are perfect for any space in your home.
