Art Parties at Kaleidoscope

rt parties at Kaleidoscope are a wonderful way for you to share your love of art class with a handful of your close, personal friends. In the past, parties have attempted to mimic other large-scale party venues, but we have come to recognize that these massive events do not reflect the quality and personal attention that we strive for in the atmosphere of Kaleidoscope’s classes. As Kaleidoscope aspires to offer the best possible art experience, our party size will be limited to 12 guests and we recommend small parties of 6 guests as the ideal. If you are looking for a larger party, please consider another venue. Effective 3/1/14
What to Expect: Parties will last 2 hours with 1 ½ hours reserved for completing an art project with a supervising instructor. All required art materials are supplied. The remaining ½ hour is unsupervised by Kaleidoscope Staff and is for guests to enjoy cake or snacks while the art instructor cleans up and gets any artwork ready to go home. You are responsible for your guests prompt arrival, for your own snacks, clean-up from your snacks, and for the supervision of children during these last 30 minutes. We ask that you plan a prompt departure at the close of the party’s reservation time. Additional overtime fees may be incurred if departure is not prompt at $2.00 per minute past the reservation time. If you believe you will require additional party time, for instance, for time opening gifts or extensive party food, please make additions to your reservation time at your party’s booking.
Painting Party Draw and Paint along with the teacher, and each guest will take home amazing artwork. The honored guest gets to customize the theme of the artwork and the skilled instructor will choose an image and lesson plan appropriate to the age and experience level of the guests. $150 for up to 6 guests. $25 for each additional guest up to a Maximum of 12 total guests. (Guests over the maximum of 12 are $50 each. A party of this size is not recommended.) Optional 30 minutes of pre-reserved additional party time is a $30 flat fee.
Clay Sculpture Party Students will hand-build a wonderful, terra cotta clay sculpture that will be kiln fired and will be available for pick-up two weeks after the party. Theme is chosen by the honored guest for the party, but the skilled instructor will plan appropriate execution of the theme to fit the age and experience level of the guests. Sculptures are beautiful in the natural terra cotta fired state and not painted by the guests at the party, but may be painted with acrylic at your own discretion individually and on your own time. $170 for up to 6 guests. $25 for each additional guest up to a Maximum of 12 total guests. (Guests over the maximum of 12 are $50 each. A party of this size is not recommended.) Optional 30 minutes of pre-reserved additional party time is a $30 flat fee.
