RESEARCH INTERESTS (tailor this to the opportunity for you are applying) I am interested in the prenatal period of brain development. My research and clinical experiences have made clear to me the importance of the prenatal period in determining an individual’s developmental trajectory. My goal is find a graduate laboratory (or medical school program) that will allow me to further scientific and medical understanding of prenatal brain development, and develop potential interventions to prevent the deleterious effects of prenatal insults such as stress and drug exposures on the developing fetal brain.
