ABIMS stands for The Unofficial Meetings of Religious Ministers in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, an unofficial and non-binding collective body of the Malayspeaking world (or Nusantara’s) Islamic religious ministers. Established on 5th Muharam 1410H, or August 7th, 1989, it was initially established to promote religious collaboration and maintain interfaith harmony within communities.
