All drawings are a result of an iterative design process. Throughout my education and practical experience, I have attempted to find the place of both physical and digital tools in the processes of thinking and presenting.
Freehand drawing, photography, and exploration through phys ical collaging and modelling open up a conceptual space that gives freedom to think across the humanities. In this sense, I believe they are crucial for the practice of architecture, the foundations of which lie in speculative thinking and imagina tion. Digital tools, on the other hand, have the power to bring the work and the viewer closer together as well as to aid the constant production of our built environment. Neither tool, however, provides sensibility or carries accountability in itself, which leaves the architect in a unique position of responsibility when it comes to the making of our landscapes.
