WINERY Winery has been designed on a plot in Vienna in the district Grinzing. The idea of the project was to search for form, which associates with the terrain. The concept of shape depends on the terrain, location relative to the wind rose and the utility functional program. Minimalist architecture of winery focuses on the proportions of the building and opens up to natural light, views of the wineyard and the city. A simple concrete form resembles the atmosphere of the maturation process of wine, tasting and contemplation.

DESIGN

FOLK STAINED GLASS Stained glass is cut in solid wood using CNC milling machine. Ornament was inspired by the design of the mountain region of Zakopane in Poland. Ornament shows the theme of rolled flagellum, leaves and lily flower. It creates an openwork pattern and a transparent barrier between the vestibule and the staircase to the second floor in a detached house. The structure illuminates the stairs with discreet splendor and gives a play of shadows. Stained glass consists of three layers: two plates of the safe glass and between them there is ornament cut in the wooden board of ash tree.
