Percy and Annabeth were sleeping in Hades’ palace when Tyson, my half-brother hollered; “we have another mission, YAY!!!” For some reason, Tyson is always happy when we have a mission, even the most risky and scary ones. I read the paper that Chiron (half horse half human/ centaur/leader of Camp Half Blood) always gives to us when we have a mission, and it said to get the golden sword before Kronos and bring it to Camp Half Blood. Seems like Kronos is trying to rule the world again, Percy said. Then suddenly, a flash of light came down,(the first light we’ve seen so far in the underworld) a portal, Annabeth guessed.
Just then, the portal flashed even brighter than before and pulled Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson up and the next thing we knew, we were in Olympus facing Kronos. How did we get here!? I asked. Then suddenly a roar came out of Kronos’ mouth, COME ON!!! I GUESS YOU’RE NOT REALLY SMART!!! THE GIRL JUST SAID IT!!! A PORTAL!!! Yeah, a portal, Annabeth said. Whatever, Percy said and by the way, the girl’s name is Annabeth. Let’s just fight already.
WOAH! Kronos said. It’s not going to be that easy to just fight me and then BOOM kill me! If I didn’t read wrong, your mission was to return the Golden Sword to Camp Half Blood. You don’t even know where the sword is, and I do. He’s got a point, Annabeth said. Wait, Percy said. How about you come to Tartarus tomorrow blindfolded and I lead you where we will fight. “Oh, so you don’t really care about returning the sword do you, said Kronos.” Well, I guess nothing can stop me from wanting to kill you, Percy said. The next day, Kronos was blindfolded and Percy was leading the way of where they would fight. But Percy tricked Kronos and led Kronos all the way to the River Of Forgetfulness! The River Of Forgetfulness is a river, but if you step into it, you forget everything you ever did and you even forget your name. Anyway back to the story, Kronos stepped into the river.
After that, Kronos asked, where am I? And what’s my name? Then, Percy said, your name is Sam and your my friend. Okay, Sam said what can I help you with? Oh, well you could tell us where the Golden Sword is? Percy said. Well, it’s in my palace, although I don’t exactly know how I got a palace and where it is, but I’m sure you guys know because you’re my friend, said Sam. Oh yeah, we know where your palace is, but can you do us another favor? Percy asked. Okay, Sam said. Good, can you make all your
servants and all your titans to like us? Because they don’t exactly like us, Percy said. Sure, Sam said. And they started off to Kronos’s underground palace. When they arrived to Kronos’s palace, he told all his titans and servants that they had made peace with the demigods and they are friends. After that, Sam led them to the golden sword and Percy took the sword.
But they had a problem, they got the sword, but they didn’t have a way to get to camp. But good thing Kronos could control portals! So Percy asked can you give us a portal back to camp? Sure, I’ll give all 4 of us a portal to your camp, Sam said. I don’t think so, said Annabeth. What do you mean? , asked Percy. Yeah, what do you mean? , asked Sam. Well, Annabeth said, I think you would have stay at your palace, you know, and we don’t want you terrifying camp or anything. I see your point, Sam said. I’ll give you a portal right now. Suddenly, we were being swooped up by the sky, and the next thing we knew, we were in camp in front of Chiron!!! This guy was amazing!!!
Then, Chiron asked, well, where’s the Golden Sword? Oh said Annabeth, here it is. Ah, good as new!, said Chiron. Good job guys, oh and you’ll want to go to sleep, it’s getting late, said Chiron. And in no time, I was snoring so loud, it even scared me…
