DR. SUMANDEEP DHESI Dr. Sumandeep Dhesi obtained her medial degree from the University of British Columbia. She then completed Internal Medicine and Cardiology training at the University of Alberta. She subsequently completed an advanced echocardiography Fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. In 2017, she started working at Royal Inland Hospital as a General Cardiologist. She is the physician lead for the Collaborative Heart Attack Management Program (CHAMP) which has brought life-saving heart attack therapies into the prehospital environment. Outside of acute coronary syndromes, her interests include valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathies, and advanced echocardiographic imaging.

COMPASSIONATE ROOM For families with loved ones in critical care
T
he ICU compassionate room is one that is incredibly important. It is really the only private space away from their loved ones room to give them space to connect, reflect and process what is happening to the people they care about. It gives families a private space to connect, grieve & discuss potential plans for the care of their loved ones. All the furniture in the ICU waiting room and Compassionate Room was upgraded by the ICCHA/Wish Fund.
