We are encouraging our attendees at the Twin Rivers Drive-In screening of Supernova to help the local A Way Home Kamloops, by bringing some much-needed items or cash donations for this worthwhile Kamloops organization.

A Way Home Kamloops is a leader and innovator in preventing and ending youth homelessness. They are a charitable non-profit that provides housing and support services to youth at risk of or experiencing homelessness. The organization provides a range of wraparound supports like prevention, housing, employment, education & support.

Before our screening of Two of Us, the Kamloops Foodbank will be in attendance collecting items and cash donations. Please donate what you can to help a worthwhile cause in our community.

The Kamloops Food Bank’s vision is a hunger-free community. They expanded their food recovery program to include all perishable items donated by every grocery retailer in Kamloops and will have collected 2 million pounds by year end. They tripled the number of elementary age children who receive backpacks full of food every weekend and distributed a record amount of food to their 7,000 clients, 9 regional food banks in addition to the 52 community meal making agencies they serve.
