SLOW NO TEMPO

SATURDAY, APRIL 24 AT 8PM

A cappella quartet. Vocal Group. Vocal Band. Whichever name you prefer, Slow No Tempo is four guys making music with just their voices. The quartet formed in the fall of 2018 and sings a wide variety of styles of music; from rock to sea shanties to jazz to barbershop and everything in between. Each song is sung with their beautiful blend of voices, and presented with their unique brand of humour. Slow No Tempo has wowed audiences at everything from large gala events to busking at the Farmer’s Market. Every year they pick a local charity as the beneficiary for their Singing Valentine fundraiser. Slow No Tempo is a prime example of what can happen when you fund music education initiatives: Each member is a product of their school music programs, and 3 of the 4 of singers initially met in their youth at the Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music.
