FEMA’s grant funding will allow Minnesota to provide $300 per week -- on top of their regular unemployment benefit -- to those unemployed due to COVID-19. FEMA will work with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to implement a system to make this funding available to Minnesota residents.

BOY SCOUT TROOP 191 RETIRES USED FLAGS Mora Boy Scout Troop 191, in partnership with their chartered organization, the Mora American Legion Post 201, recently worked to properly retire flags that were worn to a condition that they were no longer suitable for display. The Boy Scouts researched and planned a formal ceremony where each flag, regardless of size, was honored with silent respect as they were burned to cool ashes.

SEPT. 13 SWEDISH LANGUAGE CLASSES A new series of Swedish language classes begins at 4 p.m. at the Braham Event Center, with teacher Valorie Arrowsmith. To support greater understanding of language and culture, the Dala Heritage Society offers a 50% scholarship to paid up members of the organization for each class attended. People joining the DHS in order to take advantage of this offer are invited to become a DHS member.

The class series runs for five weeks, and classes are held outdoors, so participants are encouraged to dress for the weather. The location is on the east side of the BEC at 655 8th St. SW, Braham.

SEPT. 19 MORA FLYIN AND STATIC TRACTOR DISPLAY The city of Mora and the airport board are sponsoring the annual fly-in and tractor display. From 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. come and enjoy this event for the whole family including a pancake breakfast, paper airplane contest, airplane rides.

Kids can register for a free fl ight which will take place on Oct. 3.

â&#x20AC;˘ On-call substitutes Duties: To assist with the cleaning and maintenance of districtâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s buildings. Responsibilities as assigned by the Maintenance Operations Coordinator.

Salary and benefits per the negotiated Ogilvie Education Support Personnel Association (OESPA) Master Agreement. Higher wage available, based on past work experience with similar responsibilities.
