ounded in 1972, NOVUS glass has offered quality auto glass repair and replacement for over 35 years. As the inventor of auto glass repair, NOVUS takes great pride in providing the best in technical and personal service. Gary and Darlene Fix purchased their NOVUS franchise in 1990. Originally located in Braham, the business moved to Mora in 2001, and in 2010, Gary and Darlene sold the establishment to their three children, Ginger, Doug, and Gayle. Mora's NOVUS provides a wide variety of helpful glass services while remaining committed to exceptional customer care and safety. NOVUS supplies many convenient glass services. The company specializes first in windshield repair. NOVUS technicians can fix chips and other windshield damage and restore 75-95 percent of the windshield's optical clarity. The glass' structural integrity can also be returned to near pre-damage levels through NOVUS' “Millenium” repair system. When a windshield is too severely damaged to be repaired,
www.FixYourAutoGlass.com
NOVUS will replace the glass using a twoman install method and special urethane adhesives that provide the best possible quality set for any windshield. If possible NOVUS technicians will suggest used auto glass for windshield replacements in order to save their customers money. NOVUS provides other helpful auto glass services, including scratch removal and the headlight saver program, which restores headlight surfaces for increased brilliance. Along with auto glass, NOVUS offers both residential and commercial glass installation as well as custom order glass for vintage cars and trucks, tractor cabs and farm equipment, cabinets, shelves, tabletops, mirrors, and much more. Special varieties of glass, including plexiglass, Lexan, and double pane windows, can be ordered upon customer request. NOVUS is dedicated to providing customers with the best possible service and care. Clients can choose from several service options. They can either bring their vehicles to the shop for auto glass repair or take advantage of NOVUS' mobile service that spans 10 counties in East Central Minnesota. NOVUS technicians
are friendly and down-to-earth but also highly trained and meticulous in their work. Same day service is often available if the necessary glass is in stock. NOVUS knows how important it is for customers to be back out on the road as soon as possible! Further, NOVUS employees are pleased to guide their customers through the insurance claim process. Indeed, NOVUS has built strong working relationships with all major and independent insurance companies in order to make their customers' auto glass service experience as hassle-free as possible. Mora's NOVUS office is open 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and Saturdays by appointment. Technicians, however, are on call before and after regular business hours to help customers who need to get back on the road quickly. Plus, NOVUS' phones are answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so customers can be sure to receive prompt service. For more information about NOVUS or to schedule an appointment, call 800-227-1149 or 320-679-4177. Also check out NOVUS' website at fixyourautoglass.com.

Luminaria Dedication Form This year, remember or honor loved ones, friends, coworkers, parents, children… anyone who has lost the battle or who is fighting the hardest battle of all- the one to CANCER. It will touch each of us at some time. For many, it will become our battle. The American Cancer Society holds Relay For Life for just that very reason: we want to celebrate cancer survivors, remember those lost to cancer, and fight back against the disease. The Luminaria Ceremony helps us to do all of those things. As darkness falls on June 15, spectators will stand in silence and in peace. The glow of hundreds of luminaria candles will circle the track at the Kanabec County Fairgrounds. Each luminaria will reflect light for the names of those we have lost and shine for cancer survivors. This year, light a Candle of Hope or Remembrance, and join us on June 15. Call Marah at 320-282-5427 with questions. Please accept my donation In Memory or In Honor

THANK YOU Pine Childcare Providers in Action (PCPIA) and childcare providers throughout Pine County would like to thank Pine City’s Heather Cruz for her passion in advocating for childern. A year ago, Heather submitted a grant to Scholastic Books for PCPIA, a non profit association for childcare providers, to obtain several hundred books to get into the hands of children and childcare homes and centers. As a result, throughout the year, 25 providers gave out 230 books to children in Pine County. Heather’s vision for all children to have a literacy rich enviroment is very important and very appreciated. Thank you, Heather!
