JULY 7  9 SUMMER VOLUNTEER WEEKENDS Audubon Center of the North Woods in Sandstone is setting aside a few weekends as Volunteer Work Weekends and is looking for volunteers to help with a variety of projects.

LAURA S. TVEDT Laura Sue Tvedt, of Cambridge died unexpectedly Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. She was 42 years old.

She was born November 2, 1974 in M Minneapolis, Minnesota to Dennis R. aand Karen (Roberts) Anderson. She m moved with her family to Cokato, MN iin 1979 where she attended Dassel-Cokkato High School, graduating in 1993.

SShe then attended St. Cloud Technical C College where she met her husband, JJoel. They were united in marriage on A April 8, 1995 in Cokato. She and her h husband have five children, Jaden, G Gabe, Ashlyn, Zach and Ava, who were tthe joy of her life.

She accomplished her master’s d degree in clinical social work with high h honors after attending Anoka Ramsey C Community College, St. Scholastica aand St. Catherine’s University. In her jobs she worked in healthcare, enjoying working with aged people with dementia, especially the crabby ones.

Laura enjoyed camping, scrapbooking, reading and whatever else involved being with family. She always had an ear to listen and hands ready to help. One of her fi nest talents was fitting a whole dilly bar in her mouth.

She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis R. Anderson and by her brother, Dennis J. Anderson.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Joel; five children, Jaden, Gabriel, Ashlyn, Zachary and Ava; mother, Karen; brother, Daniel (Sharon) Anderson; sister, Lisa (Shane) Thompson; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service was 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at New Hope Community Church Cambridge Campus with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial at Cokato City Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at StrikeLifeTributes.com.
