DALA HERITAGE SOCIETY ADJUSTS PLANS WINTER EVENTS OUTDOORS Remaining physically distant, the Dala Heritage Society board met to discuss adjustments to winter programs. Lisa Marie Cramsie, of Mora, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020. She was 47 years old. She was born on March 4, 1973 in Mora, to Jon and Jeanette (Carlson) M Cramsie. She attended and graduC aated from Ogilvie Public Schools. After high school, she attended A Central Lakes College in Brainerd C bbefore moving back to make Mora her home. h After college, she went on to work aat Tobie’s and Hardee’s and also volunteered her spare time at Eastwood u SSenior Living. She loved spending ttime with family and friends, especcially her nieces and nephews. Her ffavorite thing to do was play bingo, bbut she also enjoyed playing cards, dice and board games. Another d thing that made her happy was going to her uncle and aunt’s cabin and spending time on the lake. She was an amazing person with a kind heart. She had this incredible ability to put a smile on someone’s face without trying. She was loved by many and will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Joyce Cramsie and Clarence and Wilhelmina Carlson. She is survived by her parents, Jon and Jeanette Cramsie; brother, Pat (Amy) Cramsie; sisters, Kari (Steven) Brasch and Amanda (Brent) Ostman; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other family members and friends. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2020 at the Akkerman Ingebrand Funeral Home with Pastor Bob DeYoung officiating. Condolences may be posted at www.aifuneralhome.com. VIVIAN D. BARKER DEC. 13, 1928 — OCT. 12, 2020

Vivian Dorthea Barker (Kluge) died peacefully in her sleep in the early morning of Monday, Oct. 12, 2020 with her sons, Robert and Randy, by her side at CentraCare long term care in Monticello. She was 91 years old. She was born on Thursday, Dec. 13, 1928 to Evangeline Kluge (Kresal) 1 aand Alfred Kluge at the homestead iin Livonia Township. Her official bbirthdate was Friday Dec. 14, 1928 bbecause her father Alfred Kluge ccould not make it into town until tthe following day because of a snow sstorm. It was always a story she loved tto share, and wasn’t officially cleared up until she collected social security u iin her mid 60’s. Vivian had a couple jobs in her yyounger life. One was at Sparky’s Café in Elk River and the other at C Federal Cartridge in Anoka. She was F a housewife for most of her life on the farm on Twin Lakes. She and her family were part of the congregation at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Nowthen. She loved helping out with the ladies aid and being part of 4-H, herself along with her children in the later days. She had a big love for horses, her guitar and gardening. They moved to a small house in Mora 21 years ago and then to the Dala House senior center in Mora as they got older. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; brother, Forrest; sister, Gloria Larsen; and daughter-in-law Denise Barker (Westphal). She is survived by her children, Robert, Beverly Zahler, and Randy; son-in-law, Bryan Zahler; daughter-in-law, Lori Barker (Fern); and grandsons, Joshua Barker and Matthew Barker. The family will be having a graveside service on Ralph and Vivian’s 69th wedding anniversary Monday, June 21, 2021 at the Livonia Cemetery.
