MORA FOOD PANTRY The Mora Food Pantry is an emergency food shelf that provides families in the Kanabec County area with enough food for two to three days depending on your family. Families may use the food shelf once per calendar month. The Mora Food Pantry is open every Tuesday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to noon and the first Tuesday of the month from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Service is first come, first served (no appointments required) and you do not need to bring proof of identity or residency. He was born on Dec. 6, 1937, to parents Frank and Irene (Wier) Edwood in Estherville, Iowa. The family moved to Minnesota in 1950. He graduated from Ogilvie High School in 1957 and joined the Navy serving on the U.S.S. Shangrila until 1961. After the Navy, he studied electronics at Dunwoody College. He worked for Northwestern Bell (AT&T) for 35 years. He was united in marriage to Mary Schmidt on April 21, 2000. He was preceded in death by wife, Mary and parents, Frank and Irene Edwood.

Community Education Director Qualifications: Must possess the necessary knowledge/experience to manage and operate the community education program as required by the State of Minnesota. Community Education Director License is not required. Responsibilities: To provide leadership in the short and long range planning of programs and activities. Have responsibility for all reports, information, newsletters and other publicity associated with the community education program. To cooperate in the preparation and execution of the budget for the area of responsibility. To oversee all programs, classes, and personnel in the assigned area of responsibility. To work to integrate program request from members of the community, school staff, Board of Education and Community Education Advisory Council and to search for new ideas/programs to improve/expand the community education program. Have responsibility to oversee the total daily operation of the programs and activities of the community education programs. This is a salaried position at $21,000.00/year. Flexible hours.
