Man charged with stealing, using senior’s credit card: Jacob Richard Stauffer, 25, of Kettle River has been charged with felony fraud after allegedly stealing and using the debit/ credit card of a vulnerable senior citizen. On Nov. 22, a man reported to the Pine County Sheriff’s Office that his family had discovered that someone had used his father’s debit/credit card without his permission while he was in the hospital. The man said his father lives at Elderwood Senior Apartments in Hinckley and had left his wallet in his room.
