DEC. 7 - HOLIDAY MADNESS AND CHRISTMAS CAROL PARADE Saturday, Dec. 7 is the annual Holiday Madness celebration and Holiday parade in Pine City. There will be various craft /boutique shows including the Christmas Marketplace at four local churches, Gals Ya’ Know at the American Legion and the Snowflake Gallery at Pine Center for the Arts. A Chamber Chili Cook-Off featuring four local businesses takes place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. “But first let me take a sELFie” contest can be found on Facebook and Instagram – Find clues and tag @pine citychamber/#selfiemadnessinpine to win prizes daily between Dec. 1 - 12. The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. at 8th Ave. and Main Street, and ends at Robinson Park. Serves as an Economic Development Authority Advisory Board pursuant to Minnesota Statutes and its affairs shall include, but not be limited to, encouraging and promoting commercial and industrial growth and development, housing, and redevelopment in the County of Kanabec. There are three openings for this board; two at large representatives and one electric utility representative. Emergency Medical Services Board Advisory Committee. Evaluates the money that is available to the Emergency Medical Services for training and advises the executive board on how it should be spent. There is one opening on this board. Extension Committee. Oversees program development and performance of the County’s Extension Office working with such things as 4-H, agriculture and community issues. There are two openings on this board. Planning Commission. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: REAL ESTATE SERVICES Kanabec County (“County�) is seeking proposals from real estate brokers/firms to sell property owned by the County located in the City of Mora, MN 55051 pursuant to MN Statute 373.01. It is the intent of this RFP to have the successful broker/firm enter into a Professional Services Contract with Kanabec County to supply real estate services as outlined herein.
