TODAY’S ECONOMY, TOMORROW’S RETIREMENT Saturdays at 8:00am on KBEK 95.5 FM or at KBEK.com Your Safe Money Show, hosted by Todd Sjoberg, is a financial show aimed at education but also discussing current news and trends that can affect you and your finances. The “safe money” piece targets those age 50 and older that are planning for retirement and need to keep their nest egg safe so they’ll have income all the way through their retirement.
Recent shows available at www.yoursafemoneyshow.com Some recent topics were: inflation, Medicare, Social Security, changes during retirement and many more!
There’s no question that inflation impacts everyone’s purchasing power. When you’re working, that impact can be offset by rising wages. But, what about when you’re retired? If the words “stagflation,” and “Whip Inflation Now” sound familiar, then you probably remember the inflation of the 1970s and 1980s. And you may wonder: will that happen again? And if it does, how will that affect my retirement? A retirement income strategy can help answer these questions! We can look at the impact of inflation on your retirement income and identify ways to potentially protect the retirement you’ve worked so hard for!
If you’d like more information about a retirement income strategy, contact me today!

PIONEER’S MOST PERUSED Last week’s most read stories online
Below are last week’s most read stories on the Pine City Pioneer website at: www.pinecitymn.com 1. With a grateful heart after 32 years: Growing up in southeast South Dakota, Carolyn Clark always knew that she wanted to be a teacher. As a young girl she loved to read and used a small blackboard purchased at an auction to play school with her younger twin brothers; of course, she was always the teacher. 2. Man charged with second degree drug possession: A man from Henriette, Minnesota (formerly of Frederic, Wisconsin), has been charged with two counts of felony drug possession after a traffic stop in PIne City, Minnesota. 3. Pelicans passing through: Local lakes and the Snake River are currently teeming with waterfowl. Flocks of cormorants, the American white pelican and loons have taken up temporary residence in Pine City water bodies. Each year, more than 20% of the continent’s white pelicans make their way to Minnesota after wintering in the Gulf of Mexico region, according to experts. Are you a current subscriber?
