eet Stacy Blaisdell, CST — CranioSacral Therapist.

Stacy grew up in Mora, MN. Shes recently moved back into this area in nearby North Branch. As a young adult she worked as a CPA then a corporate controller/finance officer.

In 2005, a traumatic brain injury changed her life. While at the time this seemed a tragedy; she feels this experience was a wonderful transformative gift. As her recovery progressed, she enjoyed working as a caregiver for disabled persons and shared her passion for horses running a small boarding farm, giving lessons and doing barefoot hoof trimming.

Eventually she found her life purpose allowing the healing power of CranioSacral therapy and homeopathy to flow through her. She works with people of all ages (newborns to hospice) and horses as well. CranioSacral is especially useful in head trauma (concussion, memory, learning/ developmental disorder, plagiocephaly) oral dysfunction (nursing, speech, teeth, tmj) and nervous system imbalance (insomnia, PTSD, neuralgias, dizziness). It’s a wonderful compliment to chiropractic care and an amazing supportive therapy for being our best!

In 2019, Stacy graduates from a four-year program in classical homeopathy. She’s seeing clients in student clinic and will be offering self/family care classes at Fore Chiropractic this year!

JOHN A. REINECCIUS John Alan Reineccius of Redfield, South Dakota died on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, at his home. He was 78 years old.

He was born Feb. 26, 1939, in Grantsburg, Wisconsin, to Aubrey and Doris (Grything) Reineccius. He spent part of his childhood in Webster, W Wisconsin, before moving to Rush P Point. He attended Dale Country SSchool and then Cambridge High SSchool in Cambridge prior to enlistiing in the U.S. Navy.

After his military service, he was united u in marriage to Jean Linder oon Sept. 26, 1959, in the Lutheran C Church in Rush Point. They lived in sseveral places in Minnesota before m moving to Redfield.

He spent his career as a tool and die machinist. In his spare time, he d eenjoyed hunting, fishing, reloading, ssteam engines, fi xing lawn mowers aand saving old pieces of history. He w was a Mason and a lifetime member oof the NRA. His family will remember him as a loving, hardworking, honorable and respectful man who was always helping others. He had a gift for storytelling, including some tall tales. He was a memorable man who never complained but was very determined in everything he did.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dana Reineccius; infant brother, Dallas; sister, Marianne Reineccius; and infant great-grandson, Marshall Krona.

He is survived by his wife, Jean of Redfield; son, Daniel (Jean) Reineccius of Hibbing, South Dakota; daughters: Denise Harms of New Hope and Diana (Donny) Soderquist of Redfield; 11 grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; brother, Gary (Terry) Reineccius of St. Paul; and beloved dog, Rex. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, at the Wesleyan Church in Redfield. Pastor Josh Kendrick officiated. Burial will take place at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery in Redfield.

Arrangements were handled by Thelen-Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield.

ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN Essential Duties: Performs intermediate skilled technical work enforcing the County’s land use regulations including zoning, shore land, solid waste and SSTS ordinances, maintaining the County’s GIS system and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Land and Resources manager.

• Performs daily administration of County Septic Systems Ordinance, including: septic system design review, installation inspections, issuing permits and compliance reports and maintaining records.

• Investigates complaints and ensures enforcement of county ordinances.

• Reviews building site permit applications and evaluates construction and land alterations for ordinance compliance. Assists with maintenance of the County GIS and database.

• Assists with Solid Waste program implementation: recycling, household hazardous wast and canister transfer stations(s).

• Assists County Aquatic Invasive Species Program and Noxious Weed Program as needed.

• Assists with the Board of Adjustment and Planning Commission, as needed and attends meetings as directed.

• Reviews petitions for environmental assessment worksheets and/or environmental impact statements.

• Monitors grant-funded programs and prepares necessary state reports to receive grants and funds for programs as needed.

Minimum Qualifications: Associates/Technical degree with coursework in Natural Science Technology, or related field and moderate experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Full-time will provide work direction and supervision of the Maintenance Assistant staff, performs work as a Facility Maintenance Engineer, performs administrative tasks, assists in planning, directing, performing and evaluating the maintenance and upkeep of the main county buildings and grounds; performs complex repairs; maintains the county’s heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems; setup, configure and advanced operation of the Honeywell Electronic Building automation system. Requires formal training beyond high school that can be obtained in 2 years or less.

Snow and ice removal, part of an after hours on call rotation, performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: A drivers license valid for operation in the State of MN and valid vehicle insurance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 1. High School Graduation or GED. 2. Graduation from a post-secondary course as a Facility Maintenance Engineer or a Facility Management related field of at least 2 years in length.

With 6 years of experience which must include at least 2 years of supervisory duties.

3. A combination of formal, diploma/certificate based, post-secondary education and experience that is substantially equivalent to graduation from a technical school or college in a Facility Management related field; and at least 8 years maintenance experience, including at least 3 years supervisor experience.

4. A 1st Class C boiler license valid in the State of MN or ability to obtain such within six months of employment. Engineer shall have a minimum of two years’ experience as an engineer in charge of a shift.

Essential Duties: Employees in this job class perform highly responsible professional work in the administration and supervision of social services programs involving the interpretation and assessment of policies and the supervision of professional, paraprofessional and office support personnel assigned to the social services division/unit; supervises a unit providing services in one or more program area(s) including MN Choice Assessors, Waivered Services Case Managers, Licensing and Intake.

Minimum Qualifications: An accredited Master’s Degree in Social Work and one year of experience as a social worker OR A Master’s degree from an accredited college/university in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, human services administration, or closely related field (i.e., applied behavioral sciences) and one year of experience as a social worker OR Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college/university and four years of experience as a social worker. Also, valid driver’s license.
